Seussical Costume List for Youth Cast Members

Dear Parents,

            The list below is of costumes which each of you are required to bring on your own. We will check the status of these items so you need to bring what is already gathered on January 23. All costumes will be needed no later than February 20 at the beginning of rehearsal. Please bring your child’s costume folded neatly with their name on every item (the tag is a good place to write) and have their costumes in a plastic bag with their name on that as well.  Because we are working with a very large cast we cannot provide costumes for all of the cast members so we thank you and encourage you to have fun with this. We ask you to please follow the costume criteria carefully. If you are having trouble, The Salvation Army is a great place to look for these items. Whos (this includes those in Christmas Pageant) EVERYTHING MUST BE YELLOW (unless boys’ shorts), please no logos, pictures or words. Stripes, polka dots and some white are welcome.

Boys: shorts (white, yellow or khaki) yellow polo or sweater and yellow knee socks, Black Shoes

Girls: dress or skirt (any type), yellow tights, sweater/nice shirt, White Shoes

**Feel Free to be creative with this, we are going for a “50’s look”

 Citizens of Nool: Boys-Black Sweat Pants and fitted short leave black shirt

                            Girls-Tights/leggings/jazz pants and tight fitted matching shirt (any length), ***colors for these items will be determined at next rehearsal

Cadets: Knee length Navy Blue Shorts & Black Shoes.  We will supply matching knee socks & t shirts

Solla Sollew: Girls-nightgowns and slippers Boys- long john pajamas and slippers

Fish: (this will be determined at next rehearsal, sorry for the inconvenience)

Hunches: Black Button up Shirt, Black Dress Pants  (I think that a black turtleneck and black leggings or jazz pants  or black sweat pants, Black jazz shoes

Circus: (Make a suggestion: we’re open to wild ideas… this will be determined at next rehearsal)
