Seussical Costume List for High School Ensemble Cast Members

             The list below is of costumes which each of you are required to bring on your own. We will check the status of these items so you need to bring what is already gathered on January 23. All costumes will be needed no later than February 20 at the beginning of rehearsal. Please bring your costume hung neatly (a different hanger per costume) with your name on every item (the tag is a good place to write).  Because we are working with a very large cast, we cannot provide costumes for all of the cast members so we thank you and encourage you to have fun with this. We ask you to please follow the costume criteria carefully. If you are having trouble, The Salvation Army and other thrift stores are great places to look for these items.  Whos (this includes those in Christmas Pageant and Circus Parents)EVERYTHING MUST BE YELLOW (except boys pants), stripes, polka dots and some white are welcome, but please no logos, pictures or words.

Boys: dress pants (yellow, white or khaki), Button up shirt, vest, or sweater (Jackets are encouraged!) Black Shoes

Girls: yellow dress, skirt suit, no pants please, White, Nude or Black Shoes

*You guys are playing “adults” so please try and look grown up in your outfit!

**Feel Free to be creative with this, we are going for a “50’s look”,

 Citizens of Nool: Boys-Sweat Pants (black) and fitted short leave black shirt

                            Girls-Tights/leggings/jazz pants and tight fitted matching shirt (any length), ***colors for these items will be determined at next rehearsal

 Cadets: Knee length Navy Blue Shorts & Black Shoes.  We will supply matching knee socks & t shirts

 Solla Sallew (EVERYONE): Robe, Slippers, Head Scarf (optional for those in multiple songs ie: bird girls)

 Fish: (this will be determined at next rehearsal)

 Hunches: Black Button up Shirt, Black Dress Pants  (I think that a black turtleneck and black leggings or jazz pants  or black sweat pants, Black jazz shoes

 Circus: (Make a suggestion: we’re open to wild ideas… this will be determined at next rehearsal)
